Why a camera roll cannot live on a serverless timeout
Edge functions are excellent at one still. They are a poor place to decode two hundred iPhone photos while a tab waits. Timeouts, payload limits, and memory caps are why “unlimited free bulk” sites either fail silently or trickle files through a flaky queue. Export from Photos or copy from a USB ingest. Same-day shoots convert more predictably than a decade of mixed HEIF oddities, but both Apple containers are accepted.
