Convertify4uConvertify4u is the place to turn the file in front of you into the file someone else will accept. Students attach a PDF. A shop uploads a product photo. A laptop that has never seen HEIC still has to open the picture from a phone. You should not need a desktop suite for that, and you should not have to guess whether the bytes left the device.

The honest split is on the label. Instant means the page can finish in the browser. Merge, split, and organize of PDFs you already trust are that kind of work: you are moving pages, not asking a server to invent a Word layout. Fast and Dedicated labels mean a worker is involved, because LibreOffice, a HEIC decode, or a password change is not a toy canvas. Cloud files travel over HTTPS. They are deleted after processing, typically within one hour and no later than 24 hours. We do not sell the documents.

Free is a number, not a mood

Server conversions on the free plan allow 8 a day and 12 MB each. Pro raises the file cap to 100 MB. Those figures live in the product, and the price of Pro lives in the pricing section above, where it can change without this paragraph going stale. OCR on a scan, and a file that is simply larger than 12 MB, are the reasons to look at that section. A two-page syllabus and a normal photo are the free case.

A local image compress does not spend the server allowance. The slider starts at 80, PNG stays PNG, and if the new file is not smaller you keep the original. HEIC to JPG does upload, and it writes a JPEG at quality 0.92. Keep the HEIC. Make one derivative. If a portal still complains, compress that JPG once. A second format will not heal the first encode.

Pictures, pages, and the tools that are not the same

JPG to PNG wraps pixels. It does not cut a subject out and it does not add sharpness. The background remover takes one still up to 25 MB and returns a transparent PNG in the browser. WebP and JPG from that cutout save at quality 0.92. If you export JPG while the backdrop is still clear, the hole fills with white, because JPEG cannot store one.

Crop image locks freeform, square 1:1, portrait 4:5, landscape 16:9, and a Facebook frame at 1.91:1. There is no circle mask and no millimetre passport box on that cropper. A round layout is the collage maker. The crop canvas under /tools/crop-image is the same editor, and its canonical address is the crop hub, so you are not choosing a second recipe by opening the other URL.

GIF Studio, at the tools address, is the encoder: up to 30 frames, a long edge of 1200 pixels, frames painted on white. The GIF maker hub is the page that explains the loop. The studio canonical points at that hub. Sound and a long demo still belong in a video file. A paper sheet belongs on the document scanner. Magic Color is the filter it starts with. You can download a PNG, or a one-page A4 PDF that embeds a JPEG at quality 0.92.

PDF compress does not take a typed kilobyte target. Light, Balanced, and Maximum are the presets, and the tool stops at 200 pages. Light rewrites the structure and hands the original back if that rewrite is not smaller. Balanced and Maximum rasterize pages, which is why photographs go soft and why a text report should start on Light. Add a password only on a file you still own. The phrase is 4 to 128 characters, and the protect path uses AES-256. Unlock needs that same phrase. It is not a crack.

How to finish in one pass

Name the extension you were asked for. Open that tool. Read Instant versus server. Download, and open the file where it will be judged: the form, the mailbox, the phone. Keep the master. If the first page, a middle table, and the last page of a Word reconstruct look right, you are done. If a crop still contains the face, you are done. Another pass is how an hour disappears.
