A form or an older app often accepts JPG and refuses a HEIC from the phone. Drop the .heic or .heif still here and download a JPEG encoded at quality 0.92, at the same pixel size as the photo.

A JPG that opens in mail and older apps
The point of this page is a share copy, not a new master. Quality 0.92 keeps the photo looking like the picture you took, at the same width and height.

The JPEG is encoded at 0.92 on both the standard converter and the dedicated server. Width and height stay with the photo. The JPG is often larger than the HEIC, because HEIC is the compact original and this encode favors a clean copy you can send.
