Canonical HEIC to PDF Tool

HEIC to PDF Converter — Camera Stills as a Shareable Document

Schools, offices, and print counters want PDF. Your phone still wrote .heic. Drop the files here, assemble pages on this device, and download a document that opens in Edge, Acrobat, and Chrome.

On-device conversion — Apple stills never upload to Convertify4u. Drop files above to build a PDF in this tab.

A document is not a photo file — that is the whole point

HEIC is a camera container. PDF is a page description format. People mix them because the job looks similar (“I have pictures, I need something I can email”), but the destination is different. A JPEG is still one image. A PDF can be one page or fifty, prints with predictable layout, and is the file type government portals actually list. If you only need a photo that Instagram or WhatsApp will accept, use the JPEG converter instead. If you need a packet — assignment photos, ID plus a form, a walkthrough — stay on this hub. Everything here runs locally. libheif-style decode and PDF assembly happen in the browser. We do not store your Camera Roll on a disk you cannot see. That matters for IDs, kids’ homework, and client interiors. Large stacks can tax a phone; use a laptop if the tab crawls. Combine versus separate files is a setting in the tool, not a second website. Spokes below split the job: Apple AirDrop pain, volume scanning, ordered albums, print-shop sizing, and the no-account path. Pick the one that matches the afternoon you are having.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add the Apple stills

Drag .heic or .heif files, or browse. Nothing is sent to our servers to start the job.

  2. 2

    Assemble pages in the tab

Decode on-device, then wrap each still as a PDF page. Reorder if you are building a packet.

  3. 3

    Download the document

One file (or one file per image, if you chose that mode) that printers and portals already know how to open.

Use cases

Portal uploads

Applications that reject .heic but accept PDF — visas, schools, insurers.

One attachment instead of ten

Recipients open a document. They do not install Apple codecs.

Records that must outlive iOS

A PDF from 2026 still opens on Windows in 2032. A random HEIC might not.

Print-and-email the same file

Take the PDF to a shop or attach it. Layout is locked either way.

Problems we solve

“File type not allowed”

The photo is valid. The form is not. A PDF is the type they already coded for.

Preview export gymnastics

You can print-to-PDF on a Mac. You should not have to, on a Chromebook, for two homework photos.

Cloud converters and family photos

IDs should not sit on a random server. This path never leaves the browser.

Conversion ecosystem

Building topical authority across Apple image workflows — if you need a different output format, these tools sit beside this HEIC to PDF converter.

Specialized HEIC to PDF guides

Trust & privacy

Zero server uploads

Decode and PDF creation run in your browser. We never store the stills remotely.

No email gate

Eligible everyday jobs download without an account.

Standard PDF output

Pages open in the readers people already have.
