Canonical PDF to PowerPoint Tool
PDF to PowerPoint Online
Someone handed you a PDF “deck.” You need slides you can reorder. We rebuild a presentation. Animations will not come back — they were never in the PDF.

A PDF page is a frozen slide
If the PDF was printed from PowerPoint, recovery can be decent. If it is a designed one-pager, you get a picture on a slide. Scans need OCR. Proof the densest slide. Animations, morphs, and click-to-reveal never lived in the PDF, so they cannot return. LibreOffice on VPS tries to rebuild objects when a text layer exists. Eligible digital singles stay free. Picture PDFs are a different, paid engine.
pptx versus ppt
Modern .pptx is the default and what current PowerPoint expects. Legacy .ppt is for old rooms, old projectors, and stubborn AV closets. Pick on purpose. Old format, old bugs. Do not export .ppt “just in case” if the room can open .pptx — you only buy extra conversion scars.
Free versus Pro
Native digital PDFs with selectable text: eligible singles free. Image-only OCR: Pro, because that is a model guessing characters onto slides, not a notary. Folders and huge files are also the paid door. Confirm you can highlight words in a viewer before you assume this hub is the path.
After download
Open in PowerPoint. Check charts that were already pictures in the PDF — you cannot edit the series. Check tables on the busiest slide. Title slides always look fine. If you still have the original .pptx, use that instead of recovering a printout.
How it works
- 1
Drop the PDF
If you cannot select text in a viewer, expect OCR, not miracles on this hub. Unlock passworded files first. A 200-page report will become 200 slides unless you split.
- 2
Choose .pptx unless you truly need .ppt
Old format, old bugs. Use .ppt only when the room is stuck. Modern files should leave as .pptx so you are not fighting 2003 limits on SmartArt and media.
- 3
Open two busy slides
Title slides always look fine. The comparison table and the dense chart are the truth. If objects are pictures, that is how they lived in the PDF — rebuild in PowerPoint if you still need live data.
Use cases
A PDF handout that must become a talk
Reorder, add notes, present. Notes will not come from the PDF; you type them. Recovery is a head start, not a rehearsal with morphs.
Legacy rooms that want .ppt
Export that flavor on purpose. Proof on the actual projector OS if you can. Do not assume a 2020 laptop’s .pptx will open in a 2008 classroom image.
Editing a one-pager that only exists as PDF
Expect an image on a slide. Rebuild if you still have the source in Figma or PowerPoint. A designed poster is not a native deck.
Problems we solve
Expecting morph transitions to return
They will not. PDF never stored click sequences. Record a video if motion is the point. Flatten is not a bug; it is the format.
OCR on a clean digital deck
Wrong engine. Use the digital convert when you can highlight words. Running OCR on a text PDF wastes time and can scramble clean type.
A 200-page report as a “deck”
It will be 200 slides. Split first if that is not the talk. Nobody wants to click through a textbook in slide sorter.

Trust & privacy
Honest about pictures versus type
Text layer in, text boxes out when possible. Designed pages become pictures. We will not claim “perfect editable slides” on a scan.
Eligible digital singles free
No account to recover a short native deck. OCR and folders are labeled Pro. No watermark on slides.
Delete after download
The talk is not our corpus. Strategy decks should not linger on a converter disk. Save into the folder you actually present from.
