What does background fill do when I resize?

Can I resize a folder of images at once?

Optional kilobyte target for JPG and WebP

Leave the target blank and JPEG or WebP saves at quality 0.92. Type a target in KB and the encoder binary-searches quality for up to 14 tries, from 0.08 through 1, keeping a file that fits. If none of those tries fit, the save uses quality 0.5. PNG ignores the target, and so does a GIF. The GIF download is a still image, a single frame you can post, rather than a new animation. The whole export stays in the browser.
