On-device signing versus cloud e-sign platforms

Draw, type, or PNG
Mouse or finger for a handwritten look. Typed cursive when you are on a shared PC without a stylus. Upload a transparent PNG if you already scanned a wet-ink signature. All three flatten into page content so the mark does not float away when someone opens the file in another viewer.
What flattening does
Without flatten, some “stamps” are annotations that can be moved or deleted. Flattening merges the pixels into the page. It is integrity for a simple e-sign, not a cryptographic identity. Courts care about intent and consent; we embed the mark, we do not issue a qualified certificate.
