You need the words from a PDF inside a Word file you can revise. Drop one PDF here and download a DOCX, either as left-aligned paragraphs from the selectable text or as a fuller recovery when you are signed in and the dedicated server is available. The standard path reads text you can already select, groups it into lines, and writes left-aligned paragraphs. A short line in a font at least 1.25 times the median size can become a heading. When the text includes Bengali, the DOCX uses the Kalpurush font. Each PDF page is followed by a page break, so the Word file keeps a break where the PDF turned the page. That path is what runs when you are browsing without an account, and it is also the fallback when the dedicated server is unavailable. If fewer than eight characters can be selected, the converter stops and asks you to use the dedicated server. A file over about 4 MB needs that server as well. When you are signed in and the dedicated server is available, a digital PDF tries LibreOffice with the Writer PDF import, which keeps more of the layout. Scanned pages are read with Tesseract in English and Bengali. Treat the DOCX as a draft and proofread it, because a conversion recovers the words and a two-column page can still need a human pass. Free conversions allow 12 MB and eight a day. Pro raises the cap to 100 MB and removes the daily count. The privacy policy says uploads and outputs are deleted after processing, typically within one hour and no later than 24 hours.

Words you can edit, then a careful read

Start here when the PDF already lets you select text and you need to revise it in Word. If you still have the original document, open that file instead. A conversion is a recovery of the words, so proofread the DOCX before you send it to anyone else.

Selectable text becomes paragraphs

Lines are gathered from the page and written as left-aligned paragraphs you can edit. A heading is a guess: the line has to be short, and its font size has to be at least 1.25 times the median on the page. Bengali text is set in Kalpurush so the script has a font that can carry it. A page break follows each PDF page. The result is a document you can revise, and it still deserves a read before it goes out.

Scans and the dedicated server

When the standard path finds fewer than eight selectable characters, it stops and points you to the dedicated server. Signed-in conversion on that server tries LibreOffice Writer PDF import for a digital PDF, and it reads scanned pages with Tesseract in English and Bengali. A PDF over about 4 MB needs the dedicated server too. Read the OCR as a draft, and fix names, numbers, and any line that looks uncertain.

One PDF, then a proofread

Each run takes one PDF and returns one DOCX. Eight server runs a day are included free, up to 12 MB each, or 100 MB on Pro with the daily count removed. Visitors without an account, and anyone reaching the tool while the dedicated server is unavailable, receive the selectable-text path. Open the download, check a heading, and read a paragraph that used to sit in a column before you forward the file.

    Read a real page before you send it

    Proof the paragraphs, especially anything that was a heading, a table, or a two-column layout. The DOCX is there so you can revise the words. A short line at 1.25 times the median font may have been marked as a heading, and you can change that style in Word if the guess missed. Keep the original PDF until the Word file reads the way you want.
