Desktop Lightroom and Photoshop can hammer a folder. This browser tool cannot pretend it ingested 400 files into a GPU queue. “Batch” here means operations: same quality, same naming, next still. If that is too slow, use a desktop action. If the shoot cannot leave the laptop, stay.
Stage HEIC to JPEG first so the set is uniform for Windows clients and Seller Central. Mixed PNG graphics and JPEG photos should not share one quality number — graphics need a different spoke mindset. After encode, a second loop through Image Resizer (same long edge) makes a marketplace pack.
Event photographers: guests in the frame are a privacy reason to avoid upload farms. Product teams: embargoed SKUs, same story. Memory: 40 MP stills hitch on phones; marathon on a computer.

A queue you run, not a ZIP we magically return
Sticky-note the quality and the long-edge target. Work the folder left to right. Skip rejects (motion blur, misfocus) instead of crushing the whole set to hide them. Downloads land in the browser default folder — sort by time and move to “optimized.” We do not write a sidecar CSV. Closing the tab drops in-memory bitmaps, not files already downloaded. Pair with the website spoke after a redesign dump, and the JPEG spoke if the folder is all Camera stills. If one SKU is a PNG cutout with holes, do not run it through the same aggressive JPEG recipe as a noisy photo — you will dirty the edge. Two recipes, two passes, still sequential.

HEIC → JPEG (or PNG) so every picker drop succeeds. Keep originals elsewhere.

One quality for photos. Do not mix logo PNGs into that recipe without thinking.
