Batch PNG to JPG — Folder Converter

A DAM dump of PNG heroes. You need JPEGs named the same, flattened the same, in one archive. Hetzner workers do that so Chrome does not melt.

Folder PNG→JPEG is Pro. Upgrade via Lemon Squeezy for Hetzner queue capacity.

Same matte, many files

The scary failure mode is SKU 1 on white and SKU 2 on leftover checkerboard. The queue uses one flatten rule. If a file is a logo you meant to keep as PNG, pull it out before you pay for the job.

What not to mix

Do not throw encrypted PDFs into an image queue. This is stills only. Compress the ZIP afterward if email still hates the size.

Free versus this page

One PNG is the hub. Hundreds is this banner. We will not pretend a free Edge function will eat a 4K catalog.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pay for the queue

Lemon Squeezy Pro. The banner is not decoration.

  2. 2

    Drop the folder

Workers encode JPEG with identical white composite so the catalog matches.

  3. 3

    Download the ZIP

Basenames preserved. Open three random files before you ship to the client.

Use cases

Campaign archives

Marketing exported PNG for print. The website wants JPEG. Convert the photo set, not the wordmarks.

Legacy CRM imports

A 2003 system that only ingests JPEG scans. Flatten, zip, import.

Client galleries

PNG masters stay in the archive. JPEG is what you email.

Problems we solve

Death by one-off uploads

400 files is not a weekend hobby. The queue exists.

Tab OOM

Edge is not a render farm. RAM lives on Hetzner for this job.

Mismatched flatten

Batch uses one white rule. Pull exceptions out first.

Trust & privacy

European workers

Sustained encode, not a burst function timeout.

ZIP with names

You should not rename 400 files by hand after.

Purge after download

Catalog shots are not our stock library.
