A checklist, not a magic PII scanner
GDPR-minded sharing still depends on human eyes. This spoke is for people who know what to cover: national IDs, cards, addresses, patient numbers. Same local engine. Same honesty: scans are images; search may not find pixels.
Walk every page
Headers, footers, exhibits, and “page X of Y” lines hide repeats. Draw as many boxes as you need. Export once at the end.
Verify like an attacker
Open the output, Select All, paste into a blank document, search for the last four of the SSN. If it appears, you missed a box or the data lives in an image.
Policy
Local processing avoids a third-party processor for the file bytes. Your counsel still owns whether that is enough for a given transfer.
