What this timeline actually changes
Frame delay in milliseconds
Every frame uses the same delay you set on the slider. There is no per-frame timing grid. Longer delay holds a punchline still; shorter delay reads as flipbook. Default is 120ms. Change it before you generate — regenerating is how you preview a new pace.
Playback: normal, reverse, boomerang, pingpong
Normal plays the storyboard order. Reverse plays last-to-first. Boomerang and pingpong walk forward then back inside one loop so a hard cut does not slam. These styles expand the sequence the encoder writes; they do not add extra source files.
Crop aspect on the output canvas
Original keeps source proportions. Square, 4:5, 16:9, and similar presets cover-crop into that box. Gif Studio does not rotate or flip — preprocess on Image Resizer or Crop Image if you need that, then come back.
Quality slider versus target size
GIF is a 256-color palette. Quality trades banding against file weight. Target size (megabytes) is a budget after visual QA, not a lossless promise. If Slack or email still rejects the file, cut frames or canvas before you crush quality.
Text and watermark overlays
Optional captions and a watermark image sit on the composed frames. They are not a forced Convertify4u stamp. Position them on the preview; they encode into the palette like everything else, so tiny type will break up.
