Throughput without pretending we ingested the folder
Plan the spec once: PNG master, then JPEG-on-white if Amazon. Sticky-note the long-edge pixel target (2000 is common). Work left to right through the folder. If a still fails (glass, matching-color wall), skip and reshoot — do not lower quality for the whole set. Memory: huge 40 MP stills may hitch on a phone; use a laptop for the marathon. Closing the tab mid-loop loses the in-memory bitmap, not your downloads folder. Pair with the product spoke for white-field rules and the Shopify spoke for theme widths. This page is the operations manual for volume, not a second neural net.
How it works
- 1
Stage names and a destination folder
SKU-consistent filenames. Create an “isolated” directory so originals and PNGs do not mix.
- 2
Isolate, download, next
Same tab. Proof one hero SKU at 100% before you grind through 80 variants. Glass and poly bags will still fail individually.
- 3
Normalize pixels and bytes as a second loop
Image Resizer with the same width every time, then Image Compressor. You zip in the OS. We do not emit a catalog archive.
Use cases
Seasonal SKU refreshes
New colors of the same pack. Isolation plus a shared white plate.
Event and conference stills
Speaker cutouts for a site grid. Sequential is fine at 30–40 files.
Photographer folder dumps
A directory from a tethered shoot. You still curate; we do not auto-pick heroes.
Marketplace cleanups
Old listings with kitchen tables. Same loop, then Seller Central replace.
Problems we solve
Expecting multi-select magic
The UI is sequential. If that is a deal-breaker, use a desktop action. If privacy is the deal, stay here.
Cloud “batch” that keeps the shoot
A progress bar on someone else’s GPU is still an upload. This loop never starts that upload.
Inconsistent edges across a set
Usually mixed lighting, not “the batch model drifted.” Reshoot outliers on the same sweep.
Image tool ecosystem
Pair cutouts from our background remover with Convertify4u format converters and editors when you need a different export pipeline.

No catalog farm
Each still lives and dies in the tab. We do not retain a folder.
Stable recipe
Same model as the hub. Volume is your repetition, not a different net.
You own the ZIP
