From a pile of stills to a booklet
Merging is about narrative. Cover, sequence, close. That is a different intent from “convert everything in DCIM as fast as possible.” Use this spoke when page order is what you are selling: a tattoo portfolio, a kitchen remodel lookbook, a class presentation that cannot be an iCloud shared album link. You control order in the tool before export. Local binding means the unpublished campaign never uploads. Zipping the original HEICs is not a gallery — the zip still contains Apple files the Windows reviewer cannot open. A single PDF is durable offline. Shared-album permissions cannot expire on a file in someone’s Downloads folder. If you have two hundred unordered inspection shots, the multiple-files spoke is a better mental model. If you care about print sharpness per page, read the quality spoke after you lock sequence.
