A filmstrip in the service of an argument
A structure that survives a thumb
Hook (the problem or the object of desire), value (what changed), proof (faces, receipts, before/after as separate slides), close (the object again, or a card you designed elsewhere). That is a sales walk, not a synonym list of “launch carousel, promo carousel, branding carousel.” If the first frame is a paragraph, nobody swipes. If every frame is a different offer, nobody trusts you. Keep one offer. Put the URL in the caption or the ad card, not as unreadable 8-pt type inside a JPEG — unless a designed end card is a real PNG you drop in as the last slide.
Channels after the ZIP
Instagram and Facebook organic: upload stills (ten-frame habit on Instagram). LinkedIn: impose PDF. Ads: Ads Manager cards with per-card URLs. Email: most clients do not swipe like Instagram; a GIF or a single hero may perform better — GIF Maker is the sibling if you need motion in a mailbox. This tab does not send campaigns, A/B headlines, or pixels. It is pre-production for those systems.
When a deck tool should take over
Investor narratives, brand guidelines, and type-heavy service menus belong in Keynote/Canva. Use this studio when the campaign is photographic (product, venue, people) and the team cannot put those photos on a random SaaS disk. Agencies still win time by proving the swipe order here, then rebuilding typed frames in the kit the client already licensed.
