Do I need an account for a private encode?

No for a standard job. An account is not the privacy model — on-device encoding is.

Do you auto-delete uploads?

Nothing is uploaded on this path, so auto-delete is moot.

What about encrypted upload?

There is no upload channel to Convertify4u to encrypt. HTTPS still protects the page itself.

Is this enough for enterprise policy?

It removes Convertify4u from the data path. You still follow MDM, DLP, and device rules.

Can I do this on an iPhone?

Yes in Safari or Chrome. Convert HEIC first when Photos still exports that container.

Privacy without encrypted-upload theater

If it never leaves, there is nothing to auto-delete

Many sites advertise encrypted GIF upload and auto-delete after processing. A private GIF maker on Convertify4u skips that class of promise: files never leave the device, so there is nothing to encrypt in transit to us or to delete later. Device policy still applies — a shared kiosk can leak via the Downloads folder even when our servers never saw the work.

Same studio, honest convert-first for iPhone HEIC

Privacy does not change the format matrix. JPG, PNG, WebP, MP4, WebM, and MOV are native. HEIC, BMP, TIFF, AVIF, and DDS still need a raster convert on the matching Convertify4u page, then a return to Gif Studio. Those converters are separate tools; read their labels. Live Photo packages are unsupported — export stills or a video file.

Browser processing on every OS we document

Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS use the same local path. Your NDA assets stay on the machine doing the encode. Optional text and watermark overlays also stay local. We are not a legal discovery platform and we are not HIPAA-certified — we are a browser encoder that does not take a copy.
