Is there a daily cap?

Why do other “free” scanners nag me?

Because their product is the upsell. This page is the capture tool. Different business.

Can I scan something confidential here?

Safer than uploading to a farm. Still: you are responsible for what you photograph and where you send the file afterward.

Does free include OCR?

Privacy is the feature

Account-based scanners learn what you scan. Without an account there is nothing to profile. Keep it that way for tax slips and medical letters.
