Detection works at 720 pixels, then the straightened image uses a long side that adapts from about 1600 to 3600 pixels. Filters are Original, Magic Color, and Black and White, and Magic Color is the one that starts selected. You can export a PNG, and you can export a single-page PDF that places a JPEG at quality 0.92, fitted on A4. One page at a time is the rhythm. The file you leave with is something you can attach to a message or upload to a form. Confirm the four corners sit on the paper before you commit them. The phone camera app takes the picture
Tap capture on a phone and the device opens its camera app. You frame the document there, with the shutter and the focus you already use, and the photo returns to the scanner. That is different from a webcam stream drawn inside the browser tab. It is a calmer way to catch a page on a desk, because the camera app handles the light and the focus. Bring the sheet into the frame with a little margin around the paper. The scanner then looks for the page. A photo that already fills the view with the document gives the corner finder a cleaner job.
Corners, a filter, and an A4 page
The page is detected at a 720 pixel working size, and the warp that straightens it aims the long side somewhere from about 1600 to 3600 pixels, adapting to the shot. Drag the corners onto the paper if the outline missed an edge. Magic Color starts on, and it is a strong default for a printed page. Original keeps the photo closer to what the camera saw. Black and White is the stark option for a text-heavy sheet. Export PNG when you want the image, or the single-page PDF, which fits a JPEG at quality 0.92 onto A4. Open that PDF and see the page the way an attachment will look.
One sheet, then a fresh scan for the next
Each capture is one page. Download the PDF or the PNG, then start a fresh scan when the next sheet is on the desk. That rhythm keeps every page deliberate. You can attach the PDF as soon as the corners and the filter look right. If you are collecting a short packet, scan, save, scan, save, and send the files together. The work stays in the browser after the camera app has handed you the photo. Problems we solve
The outline missed the paper
Move the corners onto the four edges of the sheet before you commit. A little margin in the camera photo gives the 720 pixel detection more paper to find.
The photo is sideways
Turn the picture upright before you commit the corners. A sideways sheet stays sideways in the PDF if you lock the corners while it is still rotated.
