How the Laughing Leo format actually works
Laughing Leo is Leonardo DiCaprio cackling as Calvin Candie in Django Unchained, a 2010s reaction for cruel delight. Two boxes set the stimulus and the laugh, or the victim of the joke and Leo. It is villain-amusement comedy. The glass and the teeth are the UI. Unlike Disaster Girl's small smile, this is a loud, knowing laugh at someone else's L. The plantation-film source is ugly, so captions should aim at fandoms and products, not at real suffering. Name the thing you should not find funny but do, then let Leo be the audience. Keep the stimulus specific ('the merge conflict after you said it was fine'). The humor is schadenfreude with movie lighting. Short setup, shorter laugh line if you even need one. You can leave the second box as 'me.' Do not recap Django. The laugh is licensed; the plot is not required.
