How the Panik Kalm Panik format actually works
Panik Kalm Panik is a three-row Wojak comic: wide-eyed panic, fake calm, then worse panic, each with a colored panel. Three boxes match the three faces. It spread in 2020 as a market and news-cycle format. The middle calm is a lie the brain tells after one new fact, then a second fact destroys it. Unlike Expanding Brain, intelligence is not increasing. Only cortisol is. Write a bad headline, a reassuring reinterpretation, then a worse headline that reopens the wound. Keep all three about one topic. The humor is the false trough. Short clauses. You can label the rows PANIK/KALM/PANIK and still add a specific noun. Do not make row two actually solve the problem unless row three immediately proves the solution was fake. The sweat on panel three should be earned.
