How the Squidward window format actually works
Squidward Window is the clarinetist staring through glass at SpongeBob and Patrick celebrating without him. Captioners label the lonely watcher and the party, a two-box envy format. It is exclusion comedy: you can see the joy and you are not invited, or you refused to go and now you are spiraling. The window pane is the fourth wall. Unlike a handshake, there is no alliance arriving. Put the isolated identity on Squidward and the fun he is missing on the outside pair. The humor can be self-own ('me after muting the group chat') or dunk ('my ex watching the group trip'). Keep both labels short. You do not need to narrate why the window is closed; the animation already staged the distance. A smirking third line usually over-explains.
