How the Waiting Skeleton format actually works
Waiting Skeleton is a photograph of a decorative skeleton slumped in a red lawn chair, used since the early 2010s as a monument to overdue replies, patch cycles, and promised features. Two boxes usually set the wait on top and name the absentee below, or vice versa. Unlike Sad Pablo's three-stage loop, this is a single fossil: the person has been here so long they became bones. The chair is load-bearing kitsch. State what was promised and how long the body has been parked. Dry, calendar-flavored wording beats frantic yelling because the skeleton cannot hurry. A good pair is 'when they said the update ships this quarter' plus 'the roadmap.' You do not need a twist in the second line so much as a target. Keep both captions away from the ribcage so the pose remains a punchline about patience.
