How the Running Away Balloon format actually works
Running Away Balloon is a three-figure cartoon: a person lets go of a balloon, then lunges after it while a second person stands unused. Five Imgflip boxes exist because captioners label the runner, the balloon, the ignored companion, and sometimes extra context on the ground. It spread as a 'chasing what you lost while neglecting what you have' format, more narrative than Drake because motion and regret are drawn into the poses. Treat it as a tiny comic, not two stickers. The balloon is the unattainable or already-lost desire, the leaping figure is the person ruining themselves to recover it, and the standing figure is the neglected alternative. Extra boxes can name the setting or a muttered line, but they should not introduce a fourth character. Keep labels on bodies and on the balloon string so the chase reads left to right.
