How the Star Wars Yoda format actually works
Star Wars Yoda is a still of the Jedi Master, used as inverted-syntax wisdom or mock-wisdom. Two boxes hold the setup and the Yoda-ordered punchline, or a padawan complaint and the master's rule. It is a proverb format. The ears and the swamp are optional; the grammar is not. Unlike One Does Not Simply, the line should sound translated from a language that puts verbs last. AdviceAnimals taught a generation to write 'X, you must not.' Write a short lesson with scrambled order: object, then verb, then subject. The second box can be the situation that needed the proverb. Keep it one rule. The humor is either real-sounding advice in frog diction or terrible advice with the same dignity. Do not write a paragraph; Yoda does not do slides. Specific nouns ('prod on Friday, deploy you must not') beat generic 'believe in yourself' posters.
