How the Marked Safe From format actually works
Marked Safe From copies Facebook's safety-check banner, the UI that lets users mark themselves safe after disasters, except captioners fill in petty events: updates, meetings, group chats, weather. Two boxes typically hold the event name and an optional location or timestamp in that familiar green-check layout. The joke is bureaucratic calm applied to something that was never a crisis. It is a UI parody, not a reaction face. Write the 'threat' in the same noun style Facebook used for earthquakes and shootings, then let the green check do the rest. A second box can hold a fake city, a workplace, or 'your feed.' The comedy is mismatch: official disaster language around a software release or a family dinner. Keep capitalization close to the original banner so the parody registers before the reader finishes the sentence.
