Why the third and fourth boards match
Gru's Plan is the Despicable Me desk scene: he points at a flip chart, walks through a scheme, and only then sees that the last board is the step that ruins him. Captioners keep the third and fourth posters identical. Four boxes hold step one, step two, the consequence, and that same consequence again. It is a self-own flowchart, not a ranking of intelligence and not a promise between two people.
Make the first two boards a plan a person could say with a laser pointer. Put the unintended consequence on the third board. Copy that consequence onto the fourth so Gru’s shock has a target. Changing the last panel into a new idea breaks the clip. Each step should be a short clause. The humor is someone presenting their own doom and noticing only at the end.
Four unrelated tips, or a sincere tutorial, fail because readers treat the final box as a curse. Do not use this for a two-step preference or for a ladder of “more enlightened” ideas. If you only have two steps, you do not have this chart. Leave the horrified expression visible. Covering it removes the moment he realizes the repeated line.
Board one: “automate the backups.” Board two: “run it nightly.” Board three: “the job deletes the only copy.” Board four says that last line again. The duplicate is not a mistake you should fix. Gru only notices the doom because it is sitting there a second time. Change the fourth board into a new idea and you have a different comic that this drawing will not support.

Export flattens the four boards into one JPEG at quality 0.92. Words are uppercased on the canvas, drawn white with a black stroke, Impact unless you switch fonts. A repeated short clause still reads as a repeat after that uppercase pass. A repeated paragraph becomes a gray block and hides the chart. Save, then check that boards three and four still match. The download is a still of the desk, not an animation of the pointer.
